UVDTF Application Squeegee

Description

UVDTF Application Squeegee

Apply your UVDTF transfers cleanly, smoothly and with confidence.

Our UVDTF Application Squeegee is a simple but essential tool for applying UVDTF transfers to hard surfaces.

Designed to help firmly bond the transfer to the surface while reducing trapped air and ensuring even pressure across the design, it makes applying everything from small logos to larger UVDTF graphics much easier.

The compact size makes it easy to control around bottles, tumblers, packaging, signs and other products, while the firm edge helps work the transfer down before removing the carrier film.

Ideal For

UVDTF transfers • Tumblers • Mugs • Bottles • Glass • Acrylic • Metal • Plastics • Packaging • Promotional products • Signage and more.

Why Use a UVDTF Squeegee?

Applying even pressure is one of the most important parts of getting a good UVDTF application. Rather than simply rubbing the transfer down by hand, the squeegee allows you to apply controlled pressure across the whole design.

It’s especially useful for fine details, small lettering and larger transfers, helping make sure every part of the adhesive layer has made good contact with the substrate before you peel away the carrier.

How To Use

Clean the application surface thoroughly and make sure it is dry and free from dust, grease or contamination. Position your UVDTF transfer, apply it to the surface and then use the squeegee to work firmly across the entire design.

Pay particular attention to edges, fine text and small details before slowly peeling away the carrier film.

TOP TIP: For larger transfers, work gradually from one side rather than dropping the whole transfer onto the surface at once. This gives you much more control and helps prevent air becoming trapped.

For best results, apply your transfers with a heat press. Pre press your garments for up to 10 seconds to remove any moisture then press with medium to high pressure at 145°c for 12 seconds. Prints do benefit from a second press with a Teflon sheet or even better another T-shirt or piece of Duck Canvas for 6 seconds. NOT SUITABLE FOR IRONS.
We have tested our prints for over 60 wash cycles so you can be assured they will last.

DTF & UVDTF Sample Prints FAQ's

Yes. The sample prints themselves are completely free, giving you the chance to test our print quality before placing an order. Any applicable delivery charge will be shown at checkout.

You'll receive a selection of DTF transfers for garments and UVDTF transfers for suitable hard surfaces, allowing you to test both print processes for yourself.

Our free sample packs contain a selection of our own test designs so you can assess print quality, colour, detail, feel and adhesion. For your own artwork, please order one of our DTF or UVDTF gang sheet products.

Our DTF transfers can be applied to a wide range of suitable garments and fabrics using a heat press. We recommend following the pressing instructions supplied and testing your particular garment before production.

UVDTF is designed for smooth, hard, non-porous surfaces such as mugs, tumblers, water bottles, glass, acrylic, metal and suitable plastics. Surface finishes vary, which is exactly why our free samples are a great way to test your chosen products.

You'll need a heat press for the DTF samples. UVDTF requires no heat press — simply clean the surface, position the transfer, firmly apply it and peel away the carrier film.

Absolutely. It’s ideal for anyone who wants to try our DTF or UVDTF before committing, whether you’re a hobbyist, side hustler, or launching your first drop.
